Thanks for the reply. My thought is that it is also Matrox. They have yet to help me with this problem. I would not recomend Matrox to anyone. Too bad I lost all that money buying thier product…perhaps a class action suit is in order…?

I have done this , but now the project looks like one big .avi file. Therefore I can not change anything.

I still do not know why this happened. However, I opened the project, took out a .tga file,and saved the project with a different name. It now appears ok….at least til the next time.
I would very much like to know how to avoid this in the future tho.

The monitor problem seems confined to only this project.
I use the Dell Dimension 8400- fully compatible according to Matrox.

I really would like to stay with Pro 1.5.1.
I noticed the effect became better when I added yet another Matrox effect;sharpen. I added about 25% and it seemed better…
I guess I can use this as a work around…how can I apply this to all my clips at once?

I also see this problem on .avi files when I add a Matrox effect!

I’d be happy to upload a before and after somewhere, but it’s pretty much just a softer version. I have noticed the same problem on .avi files with effects on as well. This leads me to believe it has nothing to do with size of a still picture.
