I guess maybe the best question is how to convert a 720×404 / square pixel file to look correct in a 720×480 / CCIR-601 (DV Widescreen) timeline?

Hi, I am about to try my hand at editing an indie movie with 5.1 surround. Do any of you have any resources where I could learn about the track layouts, names, and the “stems”? This thread was helpful but makes me want more detail :-)…

I think ID is both a vector and bitmap process. But the weird thing is that even though the PDF of the images is raster, turning on the switch makes the quality double. But it’s when there is motion that is when the problem is seen.

I truly appreciate your time. This is very cool. How would I go about adding text into an existing layer in order to keep text size, type, formatting, etc?

I understand much of that Jon. But we’re not talking about 3DI not having meta nurbs or some outlandish component missing. I agree that Zaxwerks seems to be extremely friendly and attentive and I’m not knocking them per se.

Simply doesn’t make a lot of sense to me to have labored to ad object import but not add even a few surfaces. That’s a basic construct of using 3d models.
