HEP ME! HEP ME! Create a nested sequence using current media track??
Is there a command where I can select a video clip and have it copy that media into a new sequence, and use it in the same spot? I’m looking for exactly the same thing as AE’s pre comp command.
Need to do some fast changes and appreciate any help!

Just Nest the clip. It will create a Nest of that clip in the timeline and create a new Sequence with that clip.
