Thank you for your quick response, but I’m not quite clear on what you mean.

Correct me if I’m wrong:

1. By stacking the two clips on top of each other (assuming video
tracks only) you mean, for example, one track goes on on v2 and
the other on v3 on the timeline.

2. I’m not sure what you mean by “reduce by 50%”. Do you mean the
view slider at the bottom of the time line? In which case,
should the tracks be side-by-side on the same track and not
above each other?

All I want to due is view both tracks (cameras) simultaneously as I move the timeline slider and then cut/paste as needed onto my “final (or target)” track.

What am I failing to understand here?

Thank you gentlemen. Looks like there’s no quick and easy way to
preserve the lines between iMovie clips and “Share->best quality Q-time them.

I ended up sharing each clip as a .dv file, importing the .dv clip into FCE, rendering “Exporting” it as a Final cut (non-standalone) movie, and finally dragging that movie back into the time line.
(Too labor intensive for my taste.

I use Final Cut Express 1.0.1 and want to combine (concatenate) two sequences and save the chapter markers. I know that Duplicating
a sequence preserves markers, but how do preserve markers from a sequence I want to copy onto the end of the first (duplicated) sequenc?
