  • I am projecting this for a screening and the border around the image is distracting for the space — I was just using the “off the wall” size of 720 x 540 because is was one of the options smaller than what I was working with — I’ll use this information to get the size I’m looking for, still with pillars, but a better fit overall.

  • To Clarify:

    I have a scanned in .mov that was done at 1080p, when I check the properties in “Get Info” I see that the file was scanned at 1920×1080.

    I was not sure of how to set the export settings, to 16:8 or 4:3, this is why I posted the question to the forums.

    I apologize for taking up valuable time, but I am here to get basic assistance with a not so basic problem.

    hi there, how can I set my export size when some clips are wider than others? I’m using iPhone clips and some are wider than others! thanks in advance.
