I exported my project to quicktime and it created 3 files to make one.
    Is this normal?

Also, when I move the folder to a different location the movie will not play but if I move it back to the original location it plays just fine. How do I solve this problem? Any help would be appreciated. thanks.

That typically means your hard drive is formatted FAT32 rather than Mac Extended, so it has a 4Gb file size limitation, so it has created a new sequential file each time the export reaches 4Gb.

Those files are bogus and should be trashed. You have to use Apple Disk Utility to reformat the drive as Mac Extended (not journaled), then export again and you will see that you have just a single Quicktime file.

    No.
What kind of HD are you using?

I suppose that means I’ll have to back up my drive before I do that, which will be a huge pain. That explains the problem though. Thanks.

I’m pretty sure I did but now I’m questioning that. I’ll try again and see if that’s the problem.

Sorry!!! I just went and found your email from January 18th, and it somehow went to my Junk Mail folder. I sent you a email just now… Go take a look.
