For MPG2 on an SD DVD. 560 divided by the number of minutes.

90 minutes? 560/90 = 6.3333

Maximum should be (at most) 8mb. The Apple 90 minute preset is already at this value.

Unfortunately the HD DVD spec is dead; If you want High definition on an optical disc, you’re going to have to build a BluRay disc from compressors Template choices.

You can build a BluRay structure on a RED STANDARD DVD – and some blu ray players will recognize it. No SD players will if you build this. Additionally, you’ll need a dual layer blank for 30 min.

560/# min = max average data rate. That’s the general formula with AC3 audio.

Matt, This was more meant as a way to get around the problem people were complaining about with the lack of subclips – separate naming and metadata.

That’s all – I’m not wedded to subclips; likely, I’d try keyword and favorites before I’d rely on subclips – because I’d try to embrace the full workflow before I really try to work around it.

It was just an “ah-ha” as a workaround and I wanted to share.

Two more things – one open your preference, sort by date modified and then look for anything that’s pro app specific.

One that I came across (that felt close) was com.apple.prokit.plist.
