10 years later and this is still a great answer. Turned off GB and all was fixed.

i had the same issue. when i turned on “snap” to guide they showed up.

thanks ed. i am changing my workflow so that i don’t bother with the object tweaks on text. kind of a hold over from my invigorator days… maybe this can be addressed in one of the tuts for proanimator, as it is crucial to know when animating text.

large stills will also give the “out of memory” error.
reduce the size to below 2000px
