    Thanks, this solved the problem.
    But, now we don’t have any output via our Kona 3 because of course this codec was use by the Kona 3 to output on a video monitor!
    Am I the only one having this problem ?

    thankf, I already tried in 16 bits and 32 bits … doesn’t work.

    By superwhite I mean white above 100 IRE.

    I digitized a clip in HDTV Uncompressed 10 bit via a Kona 3 card (Apple Uncompressed 10 bit 4:2:2 codec). This clip have superwhite (white above 100 IRE).
    Export quicktime movie current settings.
    Then importing it in AE.
    After effects project setting 8 bits (or I even tried 16 bits) with no color management.
    I render it in 1920×1080 (Codec Apple Uncompressed 10 bit 4:2:2).
    Then going back to FCP, every color and levels (black and luma) is exactly the same except there is nothing above 100 IRE.
    I tried reimporting the original clip directly into FCP and the superwhite is still there (means After effects is clipping “superwhite”).
