Grin, not quite yet. But, guess I will do just that, check and seat cables, cards and such and check the latest graphics driver. For the Aja Driver, I believe that I am stuck at 5.03 since I am using the Lhe with Adobe CS 5.0.
It is my understanding the the newer Aja Drivers require Adobe CS 5.5 or 6.0.

Hope I can offer my thoughts although I am not an Artist!
First off, I must say that I am not a Graphic Artist and have little knowledge of Design (just dabble around with it), however when the little boy comes out on the tractor and the sheep is present (other elements gone except radial background). To me, the Boy should be more present, he seems too small to attract much attention and gets lost up in the scene. Over-Size him! Also, the Text in the Balloons are not really readable due to their style and appeareance.
Also, the color range of the background behind the hills… for me is to close to the foreground colors in the design. I would suggest more bluish tones for the spanned sky (or spoke). Also, the Wheels and spokes of the tractor are dark as well as the graphic elements behind them, so that they also get lost…..
Just my first thoughts.

Again, thanks for the help. The problem was still there after the update, but after de-installing the Wacom Intuos 4, and installing a Wacom Intuos 3, the handling was somewhat better, but no where like one would expect.
At least, however, they can work a bit better at the moment, while we continue to chase this down.
Cheers

Ahh, forgot to answer, yes, the Wacom Tablet is installed. The problems still happen in just using the mouse though. Are there issues like this after the Wacom Tablet is installed?

Thanks for the replies,
Will address in order of the replies..
There is no footage loaded, this happens even on a solid background at PAL resolution.
And, yes, I was aware that XP64 Bit is not a supported OS, and passed this on (day job) time and again, and the systems were not to be built using XP64 Bit, but while I was on 4 weeks vacation in the states, the other colleages took it upon themselves to role out new builds using it and practically stopped the production now in doing so.
Will check if the latest update has been applied when I get back in the office tomorrow morning and reply back. Thanks again.

May 25, 2010 at 10:59 pm in reply to: AJA Windows Software 5.0 for KONA and Io Express Now AvailableIs Adobe CS4 still supported with this Update or only CS5 under Windows 7 64 Bit?
Also, is the Kona Lhe still covered or is the last Version EOL?
Thx. -
The Difference of Operating Systems alone is a major issue/point in regards to some software working properly or not, and if it serves me right (If I remember Correctly), Tiger is not supported for CS4 Officially. Am trying to find this to be 100% certain, but am not finding any information at the moment on it.
And, trust me, Even if you had somewhat identical systems (there is no such thing as 100% identical), there are often different revisions of Motherboards or Hardware Components or Firmware on the different parts, and most certainly the systems will not have a duplicate of the OS on 2 different systems, there will be changes to one that are not on the other, updates and so on or software components installed or de-installed on one or the other and so on…
Sorry for not directly helping, will drop a line if I see something written about Tiger and CS4.

I am sorry, I do not agree with this at all! I picked up Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 Package last fall as well as an AJA Xena lhe Card and running on XP 64 Bit with 6GB of RAM, and am not Crashing at all. Not in any way shape or Form….. Has perhaps went down to the Desktop twice in the past 6-8 Months, that is all.
No issues like that at all, and coming from Liquid Chrome Xe, am really pleased and happy with it. Ok, it is not Liquid, no background rendering, but this is the next best thing I have touched.
