Here’s your solution:
1. Apply the TC effect to the first clip in the sequence.
2. In the Effect Controls panel, select the TC effect and hit Ctrl+C to copy it and its parameters.
3. Use the Track Select tool to select an entire track starting with the second clip in the sequence.
4. Hit Ctrl+V to paste the copied effect on every single clip in the track.
5. Pat yourself on the back and go get a beer. 🙂 -

Hi Aanarav,
On my ATI Radeon 9800 Pro, I have to move the whole main app window from one monitor to the other, not just the import dialog box. Is that what you meant?

Best way is to put your scopes in a Reference Monitor. Make sure the Program Monitor was the last panel that was active before you begin adjustments in the Effect Controls panel. You will get real-time updates on the scope, on the Program Monitor and on your external monitor.
A less elegant solution is to go ahead and put your scopes in the PM, but then move the CTI one frame up or back to force the update on the external monitor. You don’t have to switch the PM display mode.

Check for thin horizontal lines and sharp edges in your menus and video. Those things will cause a shimmering effect in interlaced video, because the lines/edges are only being displayed in one field and not both.

Use better blank media. Memorex is useless. TDK has been very good in the past, but I have heard reports of a loss of quality in their products recently. Maxell has been reliable, but a recent report implies that they are getting their latest batch of media from low-quality suppliers.
Taiyo Yuden and Verbatim seem to be the most consistent and reliable high-quality media.
Burn speed can affect the finished disc as well. I recommend burning at no more than half the rated speed of the blank media.
Keep in mind that reading a burned DVD is much more difficult for any DVD player than reading a commercially-pressed disc. It is the nature of the beast.

Are you using dual-monitors with Premiere stretched across both of them? Shrink the application window down to the primary monitor only, maximize the window and then try again to import the sequence. If that doesn’t bring back the Numbered Stills checkbox, repeat the process on the secondary monitor. Somewhere along the line, fiddling with maximizing/restoring the application window on a single monitor should bring the checkbox back.
