PPro 2.0 and AXIO HD
We are having the following difficulties:
1) Timeline renders work fine in SD projects on our AXIO HD box, but will only work in HD projects if s set the video preview scratch disk to the systm drive, otherwise it hangs.
2) We cannot capture HDV footage via either 1394 interface without the system hagng about 2 seconds into the capture. Must use task manager to end the program.
Any ideas?

Although you may get an answer here, a better choice is the Matrox forum, or even contacting Matrox directly. Twelve grand ought to get you responsive tech support.

Our situation is a bit odd and I’m hopin someone has an answer wither here or on another forum.
I don’t see the price tag for the AXI HD system as excessive for what we got. Try pricing a comparable AVID system (sit down first).

Probelms solved. Our Array was not set up properly by our integrator.
