The only thing I can think of is to check in when you set up where you want to set your scratch disk, I think it also lets you set where the render files are stored. I think that can be accessed through the preferences.

I know this might sound silly, but did you make sure your material is included in the “Render area (it’s up by the play head on the timeline)”.

Good point! Yeah I totally forgot about Prelude. I watched some of the videos on PP CS6, but I’m still trying to figure out where Prelude will fit in (as in quick editor and meta logging or what).

I guess my question would be, is there a tool that is best used to “insert” a clip and its audio? Basically I want to move a clip to before it quickly. I used to do that in FCP by placing the clip and audio I was going to move above and below it, respectively, so that way I knew how much to move the rest of the time line down. That way I could just drop things down and not have to play with it too much.
