Have you try PMB 5.8? This is sony’s software delivered with Sony TD10 camcorder. It does join, edit and split the video.

    John,

I would like to create menu driven blu ray as follows using architect pro 5.0b:

Menu item: 1 : Regulare HD movie – drag the AVCHD file from TD10 camcoder.
Menu item 2: Movie with Red/Cyen glass – render with platinum 11.
Menu item 3: Movie with progressive glass – render with platinum 11 720p SBS half.

I have capture 30 mins of 3d clips with TD10.

I have blu ray burner and want to create blu ray with menu, so my friends can watch them on their blu ray and they can watch movie as per their TV configuration.

    I would appreciate your suggestions.

    Thanks

I have tried to fix as you have suggested to fix the frame blending. But still have ghosts in the video.

What is SBS setup, Full or Half?

I did setup as SBS Full.

    Thanks

Questions on sony vegas platinum suite 11:

    1. The video time line has “Video Overlay”. What is difference between regular video time line and “Video Overlay”?
    2. Can I adjust the Steriosonic setup in 11?

    Thanks

    Matt,

Finally, I was able to create .iso file using the same setup in Vegas studio suite 11 and was able to burn on blue ray using CDBurnerXP. I can play on my Panasonic blu ray dvd player (it is 3d blu ray DVd Player).

The only issue that came up thus far, was that there is significant amount of ghosting of the images as you have mentioned in this session.

    Any update?

I have purchased HDR-TD10 and Vegas Platinum 11.

I have created 3D video using Steriosonic setup in VP11 to view using RedCyan glasses. It is very easy and can burn on regular DVD.

Only issue with VP11 if you have windows 7 x64. You have to change few files to use more than 2gb memeory.

September 27, 2011 at 12:44 pm in reply to: Best rendering format for Sony Vegas Studios

I have taken 40 mins of video using Sony HDR-TD10 in 3d. I have blu ray burner and would like to create 3D Blu ray video to play on my 3d blu ray player.
I have Vegas platinum suite 11 with Architect pro 5.0b.

What is the best setting to view full 3d movie using blu ray disc.

I have created 3d video using redcyan setup and burn on DVD, plays nice, but like to make 3d in blu ray and use the shutter glasses to view the video.

Also, can I make menu on blu ray using Architect 5.0b?

    Thanks

    Matt,

The Sony Vegas platinum suite 11 v 11 has side by side full setup to render the file and create .iso file.

If I render the movie with this setup and burn with Divx, do you think, I can watch the movie thru 3D blue ray player using the shutter glasses? I have created DVD with redcyan setup and able to watch it in 3d with redcyan glasses.

But I am more interested using side by side full and watch with shutter glasses.

Any comment or suggestions will be highly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Jay
