    Hi folks,

interested in sony vegas to decode and export 3D files from the Sony TD10 camera.

both pro and consumer versions edit the 3D footage apparently. Anyone have experience with the difference in 3D editing and export capabilities between the two?

I edit in FCP7, so i would use vegas to simply convert the files into a format i can use elsewhere, perhaps do some basic edits. Do not want to shell out the $700 for the pro version if i do not need it.

    Thanks!

I have purchased HDR-TD10 and Vegas Platinum 11.

I have created 3D video using Steriosonic setup in VP11 to view using RedCyan glasses. It is very easy and can burn on regular DVD.

Only issue with VP11 if you have windows 7 x64. You have to change few files to use more than 2gb memeory.
