I may try using Motion. I don’t have any desire to try to rotoscope. The camera was on a tripod and was locked down with the talent speaking into the camera so there won’t be any camera movement. This was a location of the clients choice – the best they could come up with.

I thought I had the sequence set to ProRes but maybe not. I closed the project, deleted it and started over brand new. I made sure my sequence was ProRes, got all my settings how I wanted them and brought in the file. It worked. Got it in DVDSP and burned it. It works.

Thanks for the response.

That was my assumption. The disc has been put into the machine that recorded it (a Panasonic VHS/DVD Recorder)but the disc shows up as being blank. I thought that maybe we could put it into that unit and finalize it but it’s just showing that the disc is blank. I would assume that it is blank except when I physically look at the disc, I can see somethiing has been recorded on it.

I’ve looked at the Aja control panel and under format the only thing I can choose is output to 25 or 29.97. Unless I’ve misunderstood (highly likely) or have done something wrong, I’m guessing that the Aja can’t ingest the 24p because it doesn’t seem to be doing the pulldown (It’s an older Aja ProIO;not the newer HD). I can hear the audio come through just fine but the image is just one frozen frame.

I may just be screwed unless I can come up with another work around. I guess shame on me for not thinking this process through all the way.

Hello?

Anybody here? Can someone tell me how to do the pulldown from 24p so I can spit this out onto DVCAM?

OK. I’ve got it in an SD sequence. How do I do the pulldown in order to put it out to DVCAM tape?

Never mind.

I knew it would be something simple. The canvas was sized to fit window instead of 100% thus making it 132% which makes the text look blurry.
