You will find that 720 overcranked will look MUCH better than 72060p
I cant tell much of a difference in quality in slowmo w/72060p or 1080 30p slowed down in vegas – but overcranked looks perfect in vegas and you can slow it down more and still looks great. Just beware that overcranked footage results in no audio. I just wish i could overcrank 1080 -

I too use DV Rack a lot. I just read that “On Location” ( Adobes name for DV Rack)in Version CS4 now can run on a mac. -

I used to beta Boris FX with fast video machine many many years ago and the integration was better then. One huge advantage back then is Boris FX could be used as a stand alone – if you had poor integration with your NLE just use Boris FX as a stand alone and it would not only work better but also MUCH faster.
Fast forward to today and Boris FX and Grafitti cannot be used as a stand alone. Boris is trying to get you to use RED if you want a stand alone. For an app that cost as much as the editing software and your frustration will raise your blood pressure every time you use it…Boris is something you don’t want to waste your money on. -
9.0 worked limited with Vegas,
but Boris adds states version 9.2 “Better integration with Vegas” -
I also have had some strange behavior after wmp11 install, also quicktime wont preview correctly now.

The yellow color just means that it is third party.
It looks like the new version of boris never made it to the plug in folder.
I dont know if you need to do this, but i uninstalled previous version before I installed FX9, and grafitti5. -
On the Text clip – to the right side of the clip there are 3 icons, clik on the bottom one to open the filters folder and select Boris grafitti or boris fx.

I struggled with this for a while until i found you need to apply graffiti and fx as a filter.
I put a text clip on the timeline, delete “sample text”, open the filters from the text clip, select graffiti or fx,
Click on the graffiti or Borisfx logo, The boris interface comes up, select the effect you want, change the duration to what you want, hit apply, now in the vegas timeline and you can preview.
If you try to do the above, but as an fx rather than a filter you wont be able to adjust duration.( I wasted a week on this)I hope this helps.
