Hi have talk to the senior colorist, and that is he use clipping mode on 2kplus so the image is normally scalled always. So i have to setup to normally level the file.

I have some issue now with all the test searching the problem, i have found that when we work on data range like always then i give to client the file and he reconnect on FCP7 the image is been interpreted to normally scaled which is less contrasted of what i did…

So… what should we do, if all the color we do after is going to be leveled…

I have fix it reupdating firmware, as soon as mac start.
and it work for me.

I have same clipping magenta on other materials seems an error of data range monitoring.

Well i have a Ati 5870 on a split cable and a nvidia 4000 both powered by the mac and no problem seen…
Resolve work well, how ever i have Pfclean too and it has slow down since i have plug the nvidia 4000…

How do i measure the power stress on?
What do you think, both fans work on the cards… those power cords are just for the fans right?

we do a lot of printing and pub on resolve here, and i really hate the NR of resolve, it just make the image blocky an even some banding appear, so if you use it it should be in small %.

I recommend PFcleaner denoiser, is a nice and selective one.

1· Read Manual (thats the way i did, and instruct 2 senior TK colorist)
2· ICA real class
3·FXPHD online class
