Any chance that a re-run of the webinar will be available for viewing? I too was unable to catch the show today and would love to check out the preview!

Thanks so much for your quick response to my question! I figured it was most likely an issue with the signal that was being fed to the Ki Pro. In addition to the red lines, we also had to deal with a lot of graininess in the image that was caused by them using a camera that had poor low-light capabilities with the gain cranked up.

I knew that the Ki Pro wouldn’t add that to the image!

Floh, you are the BEST! It was indeed clips in a bin that I needed to reacquire, so the PowerLog method you suggested worked perfectly.

Thanks so much for your expert advice!!!

    Jon,

Is there an official blessing for 10.6.4 with Media 100 1.6.1?

    Thanks!

May 13, 2010 at 8:36 pm in reply to: AJA-Driver.

Any word on when AJA driver 7.5.1 will be qualified for Media 100 Suite 1.5.1?

LHe card likes to revert back to SD bars on SDI output and SD composite bars on HD component output whenever I quit Media 100. Even if I change the setting back to 1080i output in AJA Control Panel, the card always resets the next time I quit Media 100. Nothing tragic, just slightly annoying 😉

Looks like AJA fixed this in 7.5.1 as listed in “fixes and improvements”:

“Fixed a problem where the AJA Control Panel Default Video Output preference would not reset as expected or persist after a reboot (KONA LHe)”

I don’t see where our 8-core MacPro (early ’08) would have any issues with that. Maybe I’ll try to track down a short clip online that I can download and test on the system.

    Thanks for the response Wick!

    Mark,

If you don’t mind me asking, how much did Abel charge you for the repair? Also, did you send it to New York?

    Thanks!

So I totally jinxed myself yesterday by posting about this. Right after posting, we went on a shoot where the ND filter wheel gear totally broke… and of course it was stuck in the full ND position!!! Needless to say, we had one hell of a day shooting interiors!

I’ll be calling Abel today and shipping the camera out for this repair and the yearly service…

    Thanks for everyone’s advice!

Our HDX900 just started having problems with the filter wheel! Who should we contact about this? Camera was purchased from Abel…

    Thanks for posting!
