Unfortunately they have no forum of their own, yet. Thought I’d take a stab at the Cow and see if anyone in the community has come across this problem.

    Thanks.
I was able to do it by adding an External Compositing Tag to my floor.
    Worked like a charm

    Yes. I’ve tried Shadow…even Depth.
It’s not recognized as a shadow

    Hi,

i think if you want to illustrate the elasticity of the your forground…AE is a rough choice. Maybe try 3D.

if you want to try to cheat it…try displacement maps.

andrew kramer has a cool tutorial here

    good journey

    Hi,

I would suggest maybe charging a day rate for your work. That way your day could be 8 hours or 14 hours.
Does your client have a budget?
Maybe start there. Give yourself 2 days to put together the first cut and add an extra day for Client revisions.

    good luck

    Hi there,
I had to do this a while ago and it worked out for me.

I used a photo of curtains. Masked out each side.
I used Mesh warp to warp the curtains flow.
I also used a subtle bulge in between the folds.
my last step was to adjust the lighting accordingly.

    hope that helps.

    good luck
    Jason

Have you considered, maybe building the entire shot in After Effects.

    No Video. No Tracking.

Import a Hi Res photo of your room, layout your post cards and add a camera.

Using vanishing point may be cool if you’re room isn’t too complex.
I recall a pretty rad tutorial about how to use VP on either this site or videocopilot.com

You’ll have totally control all of the time.

Add some wiggle to the camera’s properties to get the handheld effect.

You’re vision may be too complex for this solution….but I figured I would through it out there.

    good luck.
