If that one doesn’t work for you then you might be able to get something close with this one. I hope this helps.

Is this essentially what you’re trying to accomplish?

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKVlSiVOaxk&t=1s

Sorry, if I misunderstood what you’re trying to do here, but I’ve been searching for an After Effects solution like in this video that gives you control over where to sample from, then zeroes out the black and white point, and then applies the lighting and color changes to a patch. I haven’t had any luck. Again, sorry to highjack this thread if this isn’t what you were all talking about, but nonetheless, this is a pretty cool tool that I wish existed for After Effects. If anyone knows anything that will get us close, please point me in the right direction. Thanks!

April 19, 2019 at 3:53 pm in reply to: Mocha AE 2019 – Only Creating One Set of Keyframes

I’ve had this happen once and only once. I was also in AE 2019 Mocha CC. It wasn’t placing the keyframes before my in point for me, but it was only giving me 4 random keyframes throughout my clip/layer that didn’t correspond to any of my work inside Mocha. The only thing I was able to deduce was that it had to be a bug. I use Mocha AE all the time and I’ve only ran into this once. The two fixes I was able to find was to delete the Mocha AE plugin from my layer and redo all the work. That worked but obviously, that’s not a good workaround. The other solution was to save a Mocha project out of Mocha AE and then open it in Mocha Pro and re-export. Hope this helps.

April 19, 2019 at 3:44 pm in reply to: Perspective 3D layer problem

Unless I’m misunderstanding you, this is normal. Without a camera in your scene, AE acts as if you have one essentially dead center or looking flatly forward. So when you move your layer away from the center, it’s perspective changes as it would if you were to add a camera to your comp and then leave it’s default settings as is and not move it. Again, not sure if I’m misunderstanding you. If so, I apologize.

  • Did you ever figure this out? I know in Nuke, you can use the Curve Tool, like in this tutorial. I use After Effects though, I’ve never figured out a great way to do this in AE. This is what you were after, correct?

I’m having this same issue and it does not remember that I relinked them after saving.

  • I just ran into this same problem the other day with Rebusfarm as I too use them a lot and have like their service. I talked to one of their representatives and they said they actually have no idea how long it will take because they haven’t found the problem yet. This lead me to Pixel Plow. Very good service and the cheapest around. And the renders have been perfect. Takes a little more to get it to them but it’s worth it. I also still use rebus farm’s plugin to check for any errors prior to sending it to Pixel Plow. One thing you have to make sure and do is collect all assets for your current project. I just create a new one with the collected assets and then send them that. Hope this helps. Here’s a link. https://www.pixelplow.net
