    Hi,

    I have a problem when I turn a text layer in 3D.
Depending where I put my layer into the composition the perspective of the 3 axis will change with the text position, as shown on these screenshots :

I have to be perfectly in the middle of my composition to keep them straight. There is no camera on scene.
This is the first time I have this problem…

Any idea about how can I fix it?

    Thank you!

Unless I’m misunderstanding you, this is normal. Without a camera in your scene, AE acts as if you have one essentially dead center or looking flatly forward. So when you move your layer away from the center, it’s perspective changes as it would if you were to add a camera to your comp and then leave it’s default settings as is and not move it. Again, not sure if I’m misunderstanding you. If so, I apologize.

Thanks for your answer. You’re right that’s what I meant.

I don’t remember having this problem few years ago…
In that case, how can I flip the text on the X axis to make it disappear from screen when the rotation is 90° ?

    Scale it in Y-direction.
