Dirt and dust can be an issue, but they can be fairly easily disassembled for cleaning. I actually rewired mine so I can take it apart more easily. That being said, mine has been sitting unused for some months now, so make me an offer! It’s set up to connect to an HVX-200 and it has a Nikon lens mount. If you are interested, I can take some photos.

Wow… that would have been nice to know earlier! I did get submenus, but the layer/folder structure was the problem, I think. I finally did get it sorted out. Thanks for the info!

Using well shot and pertinent b-roll to reinforce the subject matter is a really good thing. I shoot at 1920×1080 and edit at 1280×720, then use the extra resolution to fake focal length changes during the edit. It adds interest and makes the editing easier. Here is an example of a no frills, but well done, talking head (if I do say so myself).

There are quite a few options. Do you have any mics or are you starting from scratch? Quite a few people do double system with the Zoom H4n. I ended up getting a JuicedLink DT454 and running that right into my GH2 to record. Are you talking sit down interviews or run ‘n’ gun with a shotgun mic?

It’s no surprise to me; the GH2 rocks! I saw some moire on my GH2 footage once, but it was a very challenging printed page close-up. Thanks for that; always interesting to see camera comparisons.
