I’m with Mark on the ‘no arms’ thing. Some people will slump off to one side if you give them an arm rest.

I know you’ve mentioned this before, Tom, but I can’t remember; do you have a GPU that is giving you CUDA acceleration? If not, I wonder if that would make the difference?

What is cool about editing 1080p in a 720 timeline is that you have extra resolution to play with. If you decide you want to cut to a closeup, you can just scale up the 1080p and do a simulated focal length change.
