I can’t actually, because I try to get the best looking image I can while shooting. Sure, sometimes I’ll tweak the image, but I’d rather not end up with footage that requires color grading. I might feel differently if I were shooting with a high-end camera on big-budget projects.

Interesting stuff, Danny. What kind of lens mounts do these Samyangs come with? I just ordered an Olympus – M.Zuiko Digital ED 9-18mm f/4.0-5.6 Lens to cover the wide end on my Panasonic GH2. Not fast, obviously, but wide. Should get it today!

My Panasonic GH2 has no record time limit. I’ve tested it up to 93 minutes (the 16GB card was full at that point).

I upload quite a few videos for client review. I’ve been FTPing them to my own website. It worked fine for a while for smaller files, but I got to the point, recently, where it was too slow for the size and quantity I was uploading. I upgraded my Fios internet connection to 25/25 Mbps. I signed up on a 2 yr contract and was able to get the speed upgrade for less money than I was paying for my 10/2 service! I thought I was good to go, but then I discovered that the upload bandwidth to my Yahoo hosted site was another bottleneck. I contacted Yahoo support and withing a couple of days, they had fixed the problem. Now I have blazing fast uploads to my FTP site. What used to take minutes or even hours, now takes seconds. I love it!

It’s always when I’m doing something, but not one thing in particular. It’s almost like the crash is not related to the function I’m performing at the time, but something else that is going wrong in the background and the button I happen to be pushing just pushes it over the edge.
