I don’t know how translucent artist’s canvases are, but if the canvas was stretched out on a frame, maybe you could light it from behind –through the canvas.

I did see it then and thought it was funny. I was going to make a crack about you having too much fun in Photoshop, but then I got distracted by something else –maybe it was work… I hate it when that happens. As far as editing, Final Cut seems to be in professional use more than Premiere. Not that it is better, just more popular. I use Final Cut Studio and Adobe Production Premium. Gotta have After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator.

It didn’t look too bad to me. I think the in-focus bookshelf is more distracting than her nose. Anyway, I would duplicate the layer and apply a garbage matte to it just around the nose area, feather the edges and then use the 3-way color corrector to take out some red. If she moves around a bunch you may have to add some keyframes to track her nose.
