    It appears in the final Quicktime render. But it’s inconsistent, not always shifting despite exactly the same text effect being used. It’s driving me nuts. (As is the way FCP is messing up my audio levels keyframes, but that’s another post).

    Thanks Jerry – I did just discover I can slip the attributes within the audio window, so that works too.

    I already have a few audio tracks laid out for the main dialogue. Is there not a simple way to select a group of clips in the bin and strip the audio off or disable it in a setting?

    My project is very long, and the VO is spread out. I wondered if there’s a way to avoid keyframing the music levels up and down by hand.

    That was my original question – is there a plugin that automatically adjusts the levels on one track based on the levels of another so I don’t have to.

    Just to be clear, I’m not trying to edit the audio. Just auto-mix the levels so the music track dips slightly when the VO comes in.
