    i’m not sure if this is your problem, but one thing i would do is download hwmonitor and check your cpu temperatures when rendering. i was getting really high temps over (over 85 degrees c) which throttled down my cpu multiplier which in turn would give me 20-40% cpu load. when i fixed the cooling issue i had, i was able to get full 80-99% cpu utilization again.

    Vegas started as any audio editing program. The workflow is a little bit of a hassle to open Sound Forge when I can simply time stretch in Vegas. I’m just concerned about why the volume gets bumped up when using the elastique method versus classic. It’d be nice if there was some kind of documentation on why this happens.

    Thanks for replying John! Did you get a chance to look at the screenshot I posted? It’s at the same frame and the blending only shows when the preview is set to good or best. So if the frame already had the blur as you suggested, wouldn’t it be shown when in preview auto mode as well?
