    Nice Dave! I haven’t tried that. Let me give it a shot. Any idea how the clock unfolds or when it moves to the corner some points have a delay? There is a expression that can target mask points is there?

    Yeah they are pretty amazing animations. Thanks for the link, yeah I’ve done shape tweens and shape morphs with masks, but nothing delivers the warping and delay of points. I’m stuck. Just wondering if anyone knew of some AE Effects that would achieve this.

    I’ve had 8 years of experience in AE. The warping and delay of points…it’s not as easy as you think.

    Adis,

    Save the illustrator file. Just make sure each separate shape or vector you want to be seperate in AE is on a different layer in AI.
    Open After Effects project or new composition.
    File>Import
    Select Illustrator file
    On the import as dropdown menu make sure you choose “composition -retain layer sizes”
    That’s it.
    Open imported composition and you have those assets.
