Thanks Andrew… that is exactly what the guy at Apple said today and I greatly appreciate it.
I have already done the time machine backup but I haven’t wiped the computer yet cause my buyer backed out but I guess I will go ahead and do that and just put it on ebay.

It is a somewhat old camera, but I looked at the JVC HM 100 for a while because all the press release mentioned being able to drop it straight into Final Cut

Thanks for the response shane. I knew I could count on you. The camera offers a MOV file type and that’s what I was hoping would dump right onto the timeline. Well darn!!!

I’m not above basic help so any theories are much appreciated but yes I drug the files off the data DVD and am using those drug files. It’s been a few hours and I’m at 6% so obviously this won’t work
Tried handbrake
Tried QuickTime
Neither -
I have no idea how to do that… could you walk me thru that process if you don’t mind

could one of you guys give me a DVD recorder that has SDHC slots to burn DVDs please… like the brand and model would be so much appreciated!

I can’t imagine cameras have a DVD burner with them so I just can’t make sense of what you mean… I apologize
