Hi,
but in Final Cut 6 this function is included. I read this on Apple.de.
Why not in FC 5.1? Okay this could only answer apple me :).
But I don´t understand how could I can synconize different nested sequences if I can´t see on wich position I am. Do do this with look and search th position is really a huge timewasting thing.

thanks a lot for your effort!
I found out why I couln´t find this Automatorfuntion. I use version 1 and for the “Watch me do” function is version 2 needed.

your workaround is great. It works well.
But now I´ve another question.
Could you tell me how I have to use Automator? I never used this before. Another problem is that I use the german version of Automator and I could not find a similar function like “watch me do”.

thanks for your reply.
But this is not directly what I need. I need a grid or guidelines direct in the timeline windows not in the preview. With timeline window I mean the window who you arrange your clips and sounds.
