Sorry for your inconvenience in the wait for your certificate, but they have tightened up the time to about a week.

So yes upon registration of your camera you will extend our warranty to 4 additional year to the already standing 1 year parts and labor, it becomes a 5 year warranty. Having you register your camera does a number of things that are proactive in nature. We live in a world where bad things like having your equipment stolen happens,and having the manufacturer not only aware of the equipment but who owns it is a very good thing. Because we all know that eventually it will need repair, and if it shows up at Panasonic, we have a record of the owner so the possibility of return is much higher.

So registering your camera gets you a 5 year warranty. And the certificate that is issued to you helps you get a $2000 Rebate. But that program does end at the end of September.

John, It is a TWO-WAY street. There are things that we would need to know and there are things that they would need to know and neither would be willing to share that. The compromise is Raylight.

Then you should strongly consider why you would want to purchase a camera from a company that picks and chooses who THEY want to allow to develop software instead of giving YOU the choice.”

John, This makes it sound so simple. However if you were in a position of knowing the reality of the situation you would know that it is not just a Panasonic refusal. It is a two-way street. NDAs would have to be signed on both sides and the likelihood of that happening at a Japan level is pretty remote. So the Raylight happens to be the cool and working alternative for those folks that wish to work in Vegas and DVCPRO HD.

This hot spot is not typical behavior, but would be a result of the LCD being bruised somehow. If you just got this monitor, I would take to a Pansonic Service Center to have it looked at. Possibly best to work this back through the dealer that you purchased it from.

Hi Ray,

Just to rule out that it is not the menus and is something in the camera, save the settings of the HDX that has the sebras on to a card, then load those settings into the second camera. If you still do not have zebras, contact Panasonic service.

Hi,

I think the problem is that the framing of the two light sources and the closeness of one might be the problem. I have never seen anything like this but I would bet that if the 500 did this so would any CCD in the exact scenario. I have seen the HPX do strobe lights before, just not in this composition.

The white clipper would not affect the entire image, only the area that is over.

The camera is only able to offer one qualtiy. Perhaps something happened in the timeline to change it? Go back to the timeline that you sent the client and see what you sent him. It should be the same there, or your client inadvertently changed settings. Keep in mind the camera nly does one quality on the cards,
