    Hi Dan and Adam,
Thank you for taking the time to respond.
The client is constantly changing their minds about the wording so make it editable might not be practical.
In terms of the motext options. I’ve seen the words/lines tabs but I don’t know how you select the different sections.
    Kind regards,
    Jimmy

January 10, 2011 at 7:09 pm in reply to: Canon 60d Moire

    Hi there,
Hope all you geniuses are well.
Would really appreciate some advice on a moire problem with the 60d.
We’ve been shooting at iso 100, f11 using (brand new) Canon L 24-70 & 17-40. Camera settings shutter 1/100 sharpness at the lowest contrast is at the lowest also.
The subject matter is old buildings and the brickwork is producing a horrible Moire effect.
As a possible solution we’re thinking of using a B+w Soft Pro, which obvious gives it quite a soft look but we’ve been told it helps with moire.
Any advice on settings or better lens or filters would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you for you time,
    Jim

If I deinterlace the quicktime in FCP, the jerkiness goes away – anyone have any ideas why this might be?

I’ve tried various different formats and different frame rates always the same problem.
Some describing what I’m working is not relevant as I’ve tried rendering out untouched video to really complicated animation and still get the same jerkiness.

However, if I open a project from someone elses computer it doesn’t do it.
    What could it be?

    Thank you for your response.
In terms of fcp, I’ve tried various different formats but always the same jerky weirdness.
How do you change the settings you suggested?
    Thank you for your time!

Hi Jerry, Hooked up rs322/422 and can now capture footage as ( capture now ) IN FCP, BUT NO TIMECODE and cannot control the device through fcp, only manually from the deck (j-h3).
    Any ideas?

    Thanks Jeremy,
Are there any settings on the j-H3 deck that would need checking?

    ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS?

What would be the best option for green screen work?
Shot on HDCAM, would pro-res be ok?
Just realised the rs-322-rs-422 was not in!

What is the closest codec to uncomprossed HD the AJA ioHD offers?
