Thanks so much for your feedback. We are going to download the trial
version and give it a try. I will also look into Style. I have been using Boris FX for years. I saw the demo and was very impressed.
    Thanks Again.

I am using CS4. But, I want to preview the project before burning the DVD. Does the progress panel have anything to do with the “Revert to Original” fucntion? I can hear the audio when I preview in PP, but can’t hear it in Encore. The “Revert…” function is not available in Encore since I already did this for this project. Still can’t understand why the audio isn’t audible in Encore. HELP.

  • Thank you so much Jeff for enlightening us with what was right under our noses!!

Hey Jon…..thanks for the response….I was just looking for a user friendly program that I could just throw the pictures in and it does everything for you. Something a high school student could use, however I wanted it on the professional level so I could fade in and out of audio. A friend uses a consumer one that works well as far as movement of pictures…..the audio editing portion is no good.

You busted me as far as the avid goes…..I’ve been editng for the past 6 years on Discreet Edit. I have 2 systems and bought the Avid
as Edit is no longer supported. I am still learning the Avid and have only edited a few simple projects on it.

I’ll look into the pan and zoom though. I did finda tutorial on this site for getting the “Ken Burns” effect on Final Cut Pro..

Thank you for bringing this to my attention….I hadn’t been back to this site….I will go through all these steps tommorow
and get back to you hopefully with a success story. I completed the project I was having trouble with on Discreet Edit and had someone else burn the DVD only because it was Crunch time. I’ve got to solve this issue. Thank you so much for your input. It is greatly appreciated.
