Why not shoot everything progressive? Or why not buy a DVX 100B as an interlace companion camera? Or why not buy the Sony 570 ws camera
advertised for 5000.00 on creative cow classifieds and sell off the HVX.
Are you looking at your footage on an interlaced crt monitor? -

Barry when you say “please be aware that there should be a big disclaimer on this, saying something on the order of: PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK! This is an unsupported, undocumented “hack”, and there’s no way to know if it can cause any ill effects to the HVX200,” do you mean that this might physically damage the electronics, sensor, or software of the camera? If so why?
Barry does your book go into the details of using SD read/writers for scripting card set ups? The SD implementation still confuses me.

How about 160GX2 P2 Store, mirrored and your requested LCD screen. 2.5 X capacity with built in safety. If the drive was mirrored perhaps you could have used one P2 Store instead of 2 per camera. With Panasonic’s cash and engineering, Panasonic should be able to bring said Cine Porterized P2 Store to market pronto. -
Can anyone give me a better idea of how to use the SD card to replace scene files. I read the manual, and it seems a bit confusing. If you saved six scene files on the card will the HVX try to
import all six at once, or is there a way to select just one of those scene files?
