I use it on linux for a lot of different video things, but i believe that there’s also a windows version available there..
It used to be called something else but the maintainer at github disapeared and so other’s made this from that one…

Softron would work, and work well once you get it setup…
If the budget allows for it, that’s the solution I would recommend as well…
If the budget is more constrained, take a look at some of the computer based mixing software… One that comes to mind is OBS:
https://obsproject.com/I don’t know if it’d meet your needs completelty, but it’s a free software that does at least part of what you’re looking for, and it’s open source so there’s many people that have made outside tools for it…

My first thought was that one of the ends of the video cable might not be crimped/soldered properly…
Then I started thinking about the shielding in those cables and I think that the cable shielding in rg6 might not be the proper kind for what you’re using… Please see this article to see if it shed’s some light for you…
https://www.milestek.com/blog/index.php/2009/09/rg59-coax-vs-rg6-coax/That’s all I got, I think that it’s the shielding in the cable that’s causing the problem, and if that’s the problem, you might be looking at either replacing the cables again or adding some kind of enclosure around the cables that’s shielded…

Did you check into other softwares? OBS or flash encoder or microsoft’s encoder?
All three of those are free software…

What I’d suggest doing is getting a decent computer (doesn’t have to be too great, but decent) and put a video capture card into it (I like BlackMagic Designs but my favorite is AJA but it’s much more expensive) and use a capture software to capture it and you should just have to set the capture settings you want and then you’re done…
Once you finish the event, you hit stop on this other computer and your video’s done. you might want to trim the beginning and end, but that’d be it…
Check a software called OBS (Open Broadcaster) it specializes in streaming video, but it does do capture too, not sure on it’s settings though, if it’ll give you the settings you want. Can also check into flash video encoder and microsoft’s free media encoder too (don’t remember the names of em, but you should be able to google em)…
That’s what I’d do anyway… using a computer like this, also gives you another computer you can use for other things in other situations… or you can even use another computer you have and use for other things but don’t use during this event and there ya go, just need to purchase a capture card then ?

Here’s some ptz camera’s that you might want to check out… I don’t know if you need audio with it or not but it’s easy enough to put a mic in place with a xlr cable running back to your main setup area…
Some of those camera’s are IP camera’s, so make sure you know what you’re looking at before you buy…

I know of a place that is using Black Magic camera (very nice camera’s) with ptz mounts… I’m really not sure on the details because Black Magic Design doesn’t have any ptz camera heads… Also, if you’re doing a “ghost hunter”/Paranormal thing, I don’t know if any of their camera’s have a ‘night vision’ option…
If you’re looking at a low light but not night vision setup, then Black Magic is a great setup… you’d just need to figure out the details of the ptz camera head that’ll be compatible…
Other than that, I’m not sure on the specific system you can use because I’m not had to use a fully remote ptz setup like this before…
If you have a very hard time putting a system together, I know a church that’s about an hour away from me that uses the Black Magic Designs camera with remote control ptz that I can get in contact with to see how they did it and what ptz setup they put together…

It really depends on your budget… I’ve seen many people try to go too cheap in a situation where they want remote ptz (pan tilt zoom) cameras and it turns out bad, other times i’ve seen it turn out well…
I would recommend looking for camera’s that have a separate control device for the ptz instead of trying to link it with the switcher… this will give you more control and it’ll be easier for you to set the next shot’s ptz without having to do alot of stuff on the video switcher.. it can also help prevent accidentally switching to a camera that isn’t pointed how you want the shot yet…
I would also suggest doing a separate tape record of each camera so that you can do post production editing if needed and you have a full tape of each camera without having to rely on just the ‘live’ mix…

For the video input, I’d use a black magic hdmi input, they have a cheap one that they call the mini monitor for external, or a pci one for internal…
for the software, with streaming to youtube there’s a few different software’s to use… Find out which software and then you can look at the specific’s of the system…
you need to check with the software to make sure that they’ll use the black magic mini monitor, your other good choice is aja, but i don’t have the details on that one off hand… either are good choices, so check your software…
Good luck, and if you look a few posts below this, I have made a device for monitoring online video streams depending on the time length of your stream it might be a good idea and it’s cheaper then the normal types which are many thousands of dollars… I’d help get it all set up for you and everything… and it’ll be ready soon (still being put together, i’m just waiting for one last part that was mailed to me today…
