    Hi Guys

We run a local radio station and want to create a video stream to accompany our stations audio feed so we can get carriage on some of the local TV platforms – in a sense, create a TV channel albeit the audio would always be our radio station.

We want the video feed to be a local information resource so we want the screen split up into sections – one area would have a video window run by a playlist. Then the rest of the screen would feature local content pulled by RSS feeds including weather, news and what’s on events.

Can anyone recommend video playout software that could tick all the boxes to make this work 24/7? Ideally with streaming built in to encode the channel to a streaming server online.

    Daniel

Softron would work, and work well once you get it setup…

If the budget allows for it, that’s the solution I would recommend as well…

If the budget is more constrained, take a look at some of the computer based mixing software… One that comes to mind is OBS:

I don’t know if it’d meet your needs completelty, but it’s a free software that does at least part of what you’re looking for, and it’s open source so there’s many people that have made outside tools for it…

    Good luck!
