I will never play the uncompressed video, I just need it to upload to youtube so youtube can run its own compression.
If I use the MP4 compression, then I will have: MP4 compression + youtube compression = banding and other artifacts. -
My project is in After Effects but I never use it to render the final footage I always use encoder for this.

Ok but how can I obtain the Apple ProRes codec? I don’t see it in the drop down menu.

Yes but doing so, you are introducing a double compression to the video and this will abviously degrade the video. H.264 is not lossless.

I chose V210 but UYVY is fine as as it keeps everything uncompressed.
Can you please tell me what are my options in media encoder? -

I am uploading a 3 min 3D animation footage to youtube.
Since youtube runs it’s own compression, I am trying to upload an uncompressed footage to avoid having 2 compressions (one by media encoder and one by youtube) which will decrease the quality of my footage tremendously. -
