yeah..aren’t we clever we’ve renamed everything so it takes people longer to learn and makes it sound different even though it’s the same and then we are going to slowly reintegrate all the vital editing tools we took out but call them different things.
How often am I going to use Auditions…quite often I suppose.
It’s editing like writing is writing.
it’s like changing the name of punctuation marks and calling a paragraph something else.
It’s a tool…it’s just a tool.
It’s cool is FCPX but it’s also rather immature and silly.

I’m sorry to be so far behind but are you saying multiple previous range selections are saved or can be saved because for the life of me I cannot see where.
I do kind of get why Avid editors are just saying…”why the f..k change it when it works just okay as it is”?

Thanks on or off makes no difference to me. Control 2 thru 4 no wormy on my system.
O guess there must be a conflict somewhere but can’t figure it.
How are you liking Override Connections? I absolutely love it!! Bit more like legacy!!

control 2 thru 4 do not work…but cannot find any Apple built in shortcuts.

the command is Override Connections but it was not enabled in my FCP keyboard commands.
Yup this works…not enabled on my system either so I gave it the same top left (under the ESC) key as I never knew what it did anyway. But there should be a way of finding that command in the file menu surely.
This really is so like FCP 1 all those years ago…everyone eagerly awaiting updates and sharing as a community which is all very nice but also a little ridiculous.
