I’m still reeling from having it pointed out to me that in FCP 7 you could hit shift t instead of tttt. And I was using Legacy for 6 years before I discovered the hand tool! But how do youu play from beginning of clip in timeline in X?

Mine plays from playhead anyway I think as default. Option Space seems to make no difference>>>

When you say break apart audio do you mean you had t “detach” all audio as opposed to “expand”? Wow that’s a bit of a pain innit?

And it’s never been the case that the makers of the software have to adapt it to work with third party plugins. Never has been, never will be.

That’s why they are called plugins is it not? The “plug” has to “fit” the software. If it don’t then don’t blame the software maker because they did not make the Plugin.

Sorry but your logic is somewhat flawed. No fatally flawed.

These Beta testers who are so discreet are clearly not Apple’s greatest asset. Pretty much every new OS and software edition is full of bugs…we are the real Beta testers. How much do they get paid??

…and all I asked was “Does anybody know how long ago they started building this thing?”.
seems about 2 years before the first “Beta” release in 2011. I wonder if they will dare release 10.1 without more thorough testing. Trouble is how can they when it’s all so secret? How can they test thoroughly without releasing official Beta and testing broadly? I think that’s a problem for Apple. Is it Paranoia? or stupidity?
