wow… what I hit a mark at a certain point n camera 1 and it automatically finds the same point and marks it in camera 2?
from somewhere I thought it needed marks to help it find sync?

I have a DVD of Terrence Malick’s ‘Tree of Life’ and a Blu Ray.
Wonderful movie photographically (and in every other sense) so I bought them both as a test.
The difference in quality on my decent HD Panasonic Plasma TV is marginal.

Your music track should NOT be in Primary Storyline – your Primary Story should be. In your case talking heads. You can easily swap them around in the primary storyline anyway. If you do it this way your text boxes and B roll will stay connected to the clip in the primary storyline even when you move it. That’s the beauty of the App actually.
Learn to use Gaps to move stuff along.
Then it’s easy.

Have they really done it again?
Just as we are all settling down have they really released an OS which has created a whole bunch of new problems with FCPX?
Will they have time to patch these up before releasing 10.1?
It seems extraordinary that just as people are beginning to have faith in them again they bowl another Googly at us.

Making a CC is a really handy way of creating a quick backup before trying something out rather than going back to project library and duplicating etc.
Because of advice received here I avoid doing it habitually but I find it rather intuitive to have previous versions in my event browser that I can have instant access to should I need them.

On another forum where this bug is well documented I stumbled across (Apple) somebody suggested to me that the Alex4D Smooth move (free) is a better way to go – having downloaded it I must agree.

I’m the only person I know who used the similar Trim Edit in Legacy.
I quite like looking at edits that way sometimes.

Isn’t it a bit of a “hoo haa” trashing the original user account after you have set up a new one?
Why is that such a oft recommended trouble shooting thing…what exactly happens when you do that?
