Hey Jeremy, my bad, it has been out for over 2 years, not 4. I normally don’t pay attention to any rumors either, but with a new FCS2 update around the corner, (hopefully), I’ll probably wait.

Some formats don’t play so well with Final Cut. I would open up the problem file in Quicktime pro and convert it to a Quicktime movie. That should fix it.

I would do all the moves first. Then I would copy all the clips with moves on them to the above video track. Remove all the motion attributes of the new video track. Add the dissolves. Then for each clip I would copy the layer below. (clip with motion) then I would select the above clip with dissolve and paste the motion attributes back onto the clip. This should extend the motion through the dissolve. After your done you can delete the lower track.

I would break out your one sequence into 35 individual sequences. Then do a batch export from FCP. It will be a little time consuming to set up the sequences, but once you do it, and have the batch export going, you can walk away until all your files are done. It would be way better than having to wait for each file to export.

Hey Neal, I’ve run into the same problem before. You need to make sure you Film effect is the first effect applied to your clip. You can apply any other filters after the film effect has been applied.
