So if I understand it correctly, Premiere does not have any issues about a special Compressor (like FCP has) that is supporting espacially that one type of Codec.
These different types of sequence presets are only about frame rate, size and aspect ratio. So for premiere, if the codec is installed, it can play it back – with whatever codec. Right?
On the hardware side: where does the Blackmagic card come into play? Does it support every sequence?
As I mentioned, when I switch to editing mode BlackMagic uncompressed, there is no sound playback, because it assumes that the audio is coming directly from the card. Instead the audio is coming from the standard Line – In… How and when is it good the use these Blackmagic Presets?
