Honestly I am making the shot work right now with the track I got, plus using the Mesh Warp in AE to do some minor adjustments.
This was working yesterday…I need to get the shot done and I am not that experienced with Mocha so I’ll just make due for now.
I am doing screen replacement on a laptop.

The problem I am describing in completely within Mocha. This is all happening before I go back to AE…unless this “broken” stuff refers to Mocha AE itself.

    Thank you.
I am shooting interviews, each card has only one or two clips, but my total import is over 7GB, so I think you have solved the mystery for me.
And, alas, it turns out I am not missing any footage.

I have the same GTX card on my MAC and I just updated my drivers, and yes, that solved the issue.

I don’t understand why things that aren’t a problem suddenly become a problem when new drivers are available. It’s almost like they intentionally mess stuff up to get you to think that you always need new drivers, putting you in the mindset that at some point you need new hardware so you’re more likely to go out and spend more money… okay, I am slipping into conspiracy theories here…

    Thank you!

Is there a way to be notified automatically when there’s new NVIDIA drivers available? In the past I have always had to manually check.

    Thank you!

Turning off CUDA and going into software mode fixed the problem…although I’d still like to know why this comes up, seems like something Adobe should fix, I’ll put in a request.

Thanks for advice on PSU, I am always looking to reduce noise.

This board does support PCI 3.0 x16…according to B&H:

    4 x PCIe 3.0 x16 slots, support up to 3-way mode
    1-Way Mode: x16/ x0/ x0/ x0
    2-Way Mode: x16/ x16/ x0/ x0*, 16/ x8/ x0/ x0**
    3-Way Mode: x16/ x16/ x0/ x8*, x8/ x8/ x8/ x0** 1
    Please Note:

*For the CPU that supports 40 PCIe lanes. **For the CPU that supports 28 PCIe lanes.

I love using the KB covers for my standard MAC keyboard. This way I can have a Premiere cover, an After Effects cover, and so on. They look awesome, protect the keyboard, and are a fraction of the price of dedicated keyboards. Clients can’t even tell they’re just covers.

True…I guess I am always working on shorter projects where I can store footage on optical drives, but transfer what I am working on onto fast SSD’s and I haven’t had any issues.
I have never used RAID. Fast SSD’s have worked well for me.

Is RAID really necessary anymore with the advent of PCIe SSDs? The specs of these new SSD’s are so fast, it seems like why bother with the complexity of RAID anymore.
