It is a series of pictures. The Pixelan Steptime2 Plugin is not what I’m looking for. Anyone still have an answer to my original question?

I use both methods, but I experiment with a shot by first adding frames to the timeline individually, so I can then see the project and remove or add frames if need be, whereas, it takes more time to create multiple image sequences just to add or remove a frame. Is there still an option to solve my first problem? Thanks.

Thanks! I disabled the Smart Resample option and that solved my problem. Thanks again.

I have already set the frame rate for my image sequence, and it fits perfectly into my project as of now. I could change it, but it would be very difficult to fit it in if it were changed. My question is, can the VEGAS frame rate can be changed to match my imported image sequence? I have tried doing this, but it never seems to match up and the blurriness continues…

I need to make the frame rate of the image sequence I am importing the same as the frame rate set on Vegas, thus preventing the blurriness I am encountering when playing the image sequence on my timeline. How do I do this?

Thanks! I got it resolved. It was saved in a folder with the same name in some program settings folder. The same folder name had me confused because I thought it was in one when it was in a completely other folder with the same name, somewhere obscure on my computer, and it wouldn’t show up in search. But I found it. Thanks for the help.

It says that my projects are being saved in a folder that Vegas automatically created when I installed it. However, I have saved several projects in there since then, but only the first one shows up. Even then, the file of the one that exists has nothing in it. Should Vegas be saving them into Vegas format so all I have to do is click the link and the project opens up in Vegas? If so, that’s not what it’s doing.

When I import an image sequence and place it on the timeline, it seems like there is a blur effect on and/or between each image. I can’t find an option for this anywhere. What might be causing this and how can I change it?

How do I sequentially number the set of images if not by the renaming method?

So I’ve tried out the method of importing image sequences for stop motion animation rather than having each image placed on the timeline individually. I was under the impression that this would solve the problem of any of my frames being skipped and not seen in the viewing box, which defeats the whole purpose of stop motion animation. If Sony Vegas is mainly for regular editing and is perhaps not suited for stop motion animation, that is fine, I just may consider trying other software.

    – Also, when I rename a set of images so they will be sequential, the ‘image sequence’ option turns off. Any help with this as well?
