You really do not know, if that is the case of missing controls…
While at it, how about Log (Brightness/Contrast) grading mode, levels and a little more than just very basic keyer?

Export the offline QT from Avid. Import into Resolve as offline QT and then use it to resolve the conflicts. It doesn’t answer why you can’t properly conform with EDL, but at least you’ll be able to work around the problem…
Your question should be addressed to Apple and not BM. BM has nothing to do with Mac hardware architecture. Installing any kind of chassy expander is not a good solution, as South bridge is still the limiting factor on the Mac system. It limits the Mac hardware to 40 lanes of bandwidth and no chassy expander will alleviate that.
I don’t believe, that Hackintosh is a viable solution either for mission critical device. Too many workarounds for a system to depend on.
Wrong addressee…
The question should be addressed to Tangent. Speaking of which, their response a while ago indicated, that yes, they will provide CP-200 support for Resolve. Not CP-100 though…
I didn’t noticed any deterioration of performance with scopes turned on. They are not not updated in real time during the playback. A bigger problem for me is not being able to save scopes position. And every time you change the window to, say, player, all scopes jump on top of that window. For this simple reason, I can’t recommend use of scopes right now.
