    And yeah, it is for tons of effects applied to a single layer which slow down overall preview.

    Would pre-rendering help at all in this case?

    Or is it useless and a proxy would do the job?

    Thanks, I tried that in the first place, but felt that I didnt get the
    control over the time as good as with time warp. It kind of worked to
    get the “speed – slowmo – speed” effect though I have to admit that
    the way keyframes behaved in time warp didnt make sense to me as eventhough I had the exact same keyframes in each and every layer,(both main comp and pre-comp), the layers responded very differently and besides normally, an interpolation between 2 keyframes happens faster when dragging them closer together, here it was slower.

    Again, thanx for the pre-comp advise.

    That (nearly) worked, but shortly before the effect comes to an end, it enlarges and distorts for the length of one frame. Any idea?
