Hey mate,
Sorry for the late reply. But i absolutely love your desk! and its so cheap! but at the same time looks so expensive and professional!
You have inspired me to go for a look around. I wa going to buy an ikea desk and customize it but they are just not the right dimensions… some would be perfect in length but to short in depth… or visa versa.
Anyway thanks heaps.
Kind Regards,

Hey Adam,
Yes you are 100% right. I hate it when you go into an edit suite and they just have a basic office chair… enough to send someone crazy!
I have been looking for a decent chair for a while, Haven’t herd the one you have mentioned but ill give it a look.
Thanks for your advice pal. 🙂

Cheers Bro!
I will have to make a trip up there perhaps. I have put aside $2K for edit suite furniture. Damn its time’s like this i wish i was Jesus… well maybe not in his later years… but definitely in his early years. haha

They do have Ikea here. But but the website can be deceptive. Just haven’t Gome in and looked in person yet.

February 13, 2012 at 3:16 am in reply to: Can’t decide one what Monitors to purchase for my Edit SuiteHey mate, Thanks.
I will be running 3 monitors.
edit // Colour // scopes
But $6K is just out of my budget at the moment… I know I hate it, Ideally Id run a true 10-bit Monitor and have a proper Davinci Resolve desk but for what im doing I just cant afford it. *cries myself to sleep at night* haha
Basically I just need it for HD work flow. I wont be doing anything like film LUTS or 3D. I have access to a full online suite for Film or 3D anyway. So Ill just be doing HDSLR, EX’s, RED possibly Alexa. So I want something proper enough for grading but not to professional that it will cost me my first baby.
Naturally I understand I have to make sacrifices if I cant spend alot of money.

June 20, 2011 at 5:15 am in reply to: Changing sequence settings in final cut after edit is done.Ok so guys,
So far i have everything to were it should be except for the frame rate issue or timecode in the sequence,
Its ment to be 24p but all the stuff i changed from the director is still 25p… now keep in the mind the footage itself is still 24p but the sequence’s edited by the director are still set to 25p.
Everytime i try to copy and paste them back into the correct timeline of 24p they go out of sync with the audio and in some places the edits have changed and there are caps where there shouldnt be… basically its all over the place.
I am sorry for all the drama and chaos this seems like but imagine yourself in my shoes. I know there has to be a easy way to fix this.
Technically i should just be able to copy and past all the footage into 1 timeline and it should all be sweet but for some stupid reason the jerks at apple decided to make shit complicated.
All i need to know is how to copy 24p footage edited on a 25p timeline back into a 24p sequence without messing with my edit.
is it possible? if so how. if not what can i do?
Thanks for all your help guys. you rock!

June 20, 2011 at 3:14 am in reply to: Changing sequence settings in final cut after edit is done.Ok so i have tried to copy and paste footage into the timeline but it goes out of Sync with audio and the edits dont match up.
I have tried reconforming the footage to match sequence and what not but still no go.
Can i export an edl or XML or something than re-import it back into FCP on the correct timeline?
Getting stressed cause nothing seems to work. I have so many friends telling me you can easily do it in AVID and Premiere but for some reason FCP will not work.
Thinking of making the switch soon.
Kind Regards guys
