[Paul Neumann] “In Audition try Filter and EQ/FFT Filter/Telephone-Voicemail.”

A similar outcome can be achieved in Premiere Pro with a lowpass filter and adjusting the cut-off frequency.

Alternatively, if you want a “tinny” sound use the Equalizer Effect to reduce low frequencies and increase high frequencies. Also, if the source audio is stereo consider balancing the output to emulate mono.

What is your storage setup with regard to internal/external, SSD/HDD, and JBOD/RAID?

Even with fast storage your system will likely be strained at 4k, but I will leave it to other posters to provide more definitive comments.

[Lucas Corrêa Unser] “I change the sequence settings to 23fps, it is impossible to edit at 60fps using an AMD Athlon II X2 3.00 Ghz.”

If the timeline won’t play in real time consider generating preview files. You could also scrub the footage by moving the playhead. As you discovered it is not a good solution to change the frame rate.

[Jack Bonnett] “The Audio track mixer is set to send A1, A2, A3 and A4 (all centred) to 1+2 and A5,A6,A7 to 3+4.”

OK, thanks for the explanation. Please post a screen capture of your AME audio export settings.

If there isn’t a simple solution in AME you could create a new sequence in Premiere Pro and export with 2-channel audio.

Are you transcoding from a master or linking the Premiere Project to AME? Have you tried exporting H.264 from Premiere? How does the audio sound/look in the Premiere Pro Audio Mixer panel?

[Gary Goldblum] “2) Is there a way to view the audio waveforms in the timeline?”

Expand the audio track. Once expanded you can drag the row height as desired.

For a perfect match you would need to reverse the footage to end on the first frame. Would that work for your application, or are you looking for a solution that interpolates new frames to wrap around from the last frame to the first frame?

Thank you for following up. Here is another accidental flag: https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/3/972716. Sorry.

I might need to stop trying to Like things, at least when viewing with a touch screen.

[Jogen Liesendahl] “crop one file so you can see both clips in the viewer”

Or scale and position side be side.

I find it easier to make comparisons with the scopes by overlaying and toggling the upper track.

Generate high resolution objects in the high resolution precomp instead of scaling up 300%.
