Well, if you don’t buy AJPCD 10 or AJPCS 060G P2 drives for straigth downloads to PC, apparently the right way, what you do? I know F/ware and USB2 interfaces are abble to coupe with HD, but Decklink HD Pro is SDI.

I saw that, but other informations, if we talk about HVX 200 state 1080i/720p, so I’m a bit confused.

I think Panasonic schould push hard to have P2 HD camcorder within half year or so.
There is Thomson coming with interesting gear and who knows what Sony will announcce beside upcoming XDCAM HD. There is already couple of P2 SD camcorders out and with HVX 200 out soon it schould be priority to have big brother. One think for shure,
pricing also got to be right.

And it’s HD not HDV. That is clear difference as a mirror.

You can hire licenced electrician who can hook to the main street power box overpass inside building outlets. Otherways generator will be good option.

Anybody have used that expensive Fujinon wide angle zoom or via adaptor different type of lens (could be prime lens)? Personaly I don’t expect much out of lens supplied nearly for free, exept average. I wonder, if the other scenario is way to go or wast of money and time, because biger camcorders are on the way, not forget we talking HDV and not HD.

Welcome to 21st century. Technology is rootless and advancing quickly. So the cost of it, which is good news. Mostly its going down. Ufortunatly, if you want to stay in business you have to consider some changes. Program masters or any important or historical materials now days have been digitaly enhanced and transfered, because of new and most of the time better technology to keep them safe for future. There is nothing new about all this and I don’t think it will stop.
